I finally got my own cloud working after a few dayz working on it!!! Teh early progress was fun and easy and went rather smoothily at first, but as soon as i tried to connect to opencloud teh really problem appeared. I am a 100% n00b and teh fact i manage to do all this is sick! I did use a lot of LLM to guide me, but all it did was make me go circles and circles in different changes and configz. But after a few days, it clicked! Now it almost works perfect! Still havent got my phone to auto-sync, but it does 100% work from Phone-> server -> Laptop!!

The config is rather easy;

--> Ubuntu Server
----> Docker
------>Tailscale
--------> Opencloud
I did use caddy inbetwen as i had large problem with HTTP and https but in teh end, it was just more complex to get TLS working. Removed, few changes and... IT FUKKING WORKZ!!!!As its tailscale, its 100% private inbetween my nodes. >:3

I am planing to do more project in teh future! :biggrin:

uh~eh... well, um~ i... i sort of did it in a spur of a moment thing! :3 I enjoyed playing around with linux a lot so wanted to continue - and having a place where i can store all my files in one place seems really cool! My old harddrive have like 1TB anime which was "lost" and now its connected to a privatecloud. Setting up the cloud was something i did just to see if i could do this - i never used a cloudservice before! Now i've my own :xd: But its cool, once i take a picture -> it automatically sync -> server.

Oh~ but the real reason behind the server is to set up some sort of otaku-blog where i post images & videos and write shit about it. Will someone ever read it? Doesnt matter as i would make it as a self-preservation! But as its public - i need to do some tinkering first.

Whats more- idk, as i've this server now, and the more i use it, teh more i will find out what i can do with it. Maybe host some game-server for heyuri? A 24/7 minecraft server if ppl are interested or w/e. IDK!!! :x3:
