I'm about to have a camera placed in my room, which will livestream to a trusted friend. Here are the rules

- I can't just spend all my time outside of my room to evade surveillance, though going outside of it for normal activity is okay.

- I can't cover the camera, for any reason, even getting dressed. He is expected to look away during those occasions, but I have no way of making sure he does.

- I won't know when the camera is on or off. There is no light showing me when it's on or when he's viewing the feed.

The camera will be in my room for 1 month.

I've already realized I am going to have to come up with a few solutions. For one, even though this person is someone I trust dearly, I won't be able to fap. Even getting dressed poses problems. I typically sleep nude too, so I guess I will have to change that...

One positive is that the camera has no microphone, so he won't be able to hear anything. Its 480p too, so he can't read my lips either. This at least means I can have phone calls in relative privacy.

Why is this happening?

It's to help me understand the truth about myself and be a better person.

No, I don't have a drug addiction, and I'm not trying to give myself an alibi. It's nothing that serious.

It's just, over the past years of living alone, I've sunken into a reclusive lifestyle, where I do very little.

But whenever I have guests, I transform into a much better person. I may have lost my sense of self worth, but my societal shame is still strong, and I don't let myself sink into bad habits around other people.

My hope is that this experiment, and never knowing if I am being watched or not, will force me to majorly reform my habits.

Such that even after the month is up, I'll be a new person.

It's like having guests over taken to the logical extreme. As now, every single moment of my life will potentially be being judged.

I see it as the ultimate way of reforming yourself. I will probably update this website to share the details of it. (￣ー￣)

(￣ー￣) That's right, he is basically my older brother... and I don't seriously expect that he will watch the camera 24/7, but I have no way of knowing when he is or isn't watching.

And the candidate I selected is perfect for this, as his sleep schedule is so erratic, that I can't even predict what times he's likely awake or asleep. (; 'ω')

24/7 hikki livestream with no breaks, just someone's life on the internet, webcam and monitor feed
I'd like to watch it even though it'll get boring very fast, but some will be too invested in waiting for the moment you strip :foruda:

Update: I have purchased the ethernet cable I need, but while setting up the camera-computer-recorder-livestreamer, I realized I need a 2nd one to hook it to the switch.

I also need to figure out how to give him access to the livestream without giving everyone on the internet access. I haven't tested camera positions.

I plan to do a dry run for a day so I can review the footage and make sure I dont look totally retarded. I know I sit weird at my desk
