I have had this tendency ever since I started using the internet where I'll subconsciously switch my online identity & personality roughly once a year, sometimes more, but not leave my last identity behind, switching through my different identities multiple times per day. I don't even know why I started doing it in the first place, but nowadays I really value my privacy and hate being able to be tracked, so I guess it's kind of helpful in a way. I haven't really talked about this with anybody before, I don't know if it's weird or if lots of people do this and just don't talk about it either. :unsure:

i did this a lot when i was a teenager. with the internet its alot easier to dissociate so you can give yourself some form of multiple personality disorder/DID. sometimes i would have two different personalities in this same place at the same time having beef or something. gives me a kinda weird feeling looking back.

I'm mentally ill and I impulsively delete my accounts out of shame and fear. The consequence is I have no friends. But I don't think I would have friends either way.
