I used to read the news almost every morning, but a few weeks ago, I stopped, because I thought that it probably doesn't add anything of value to my day. I still keep up with stock prices and things, for my retirement and all, but I no longer follow the news day by day. That includes social media, since you can hear about new things happening there too. Lately I just haven't been even reading at all about whats happening... so my day to day life concerns only things happening my own world

I've been doing what you're currently doing for most of my life. There's been periods when I've taken a more keen interest, but it's usually been to my own detriment

There is a war in Iran, or at least the US is bombing Iran. The hormus strait is closed and that is bad.
China is becoming more prominent on the world stage while Japan isolates themselves from china.
There is a rise in right to far right parties and protests in much of europe.
The Ukraine and Gaza wars are still happening.

That about brings you up to date.

you should've stopped YEARS ago...
the whole point of the news is keep you miserable. there's literally nothing of value in you learning about the horrible things happening to others. you can't do shit about anything you see on there, so what's the fucking point? you'll always find out if something actually hueg/important happens.
keep ignoring the news if you don't want to be miserable, and keep avoiding "social media" if you're not a retard...

>so my day to day life concerns only things happening my own world
that's the correct way to live, keep it up!
