have you guys ever bought anything from Temu? I ask because it seems most things sold on Amazon now seems to be the same ultra-cheap 👲🇨🇳 knockoff shit anyway, rather than brand name items. but Temu has similar ones for 1/4 of the price Amazon does.

what are the chances that if I buy an RCA to HDMI converter from Temu that it will fuck up the video quality badly compared to if I purchased it from Amazon?

where would I even buy a quality one if I wanted to? :dark:

i bought a hdmi -> s-video from amazon and it was all metal and feels premium. Idk about temu but i've bought other shit from Aliexpress. Biggest issue for real was that half of the things i bought got shipped and arrived at my country, but never transfer to me. Why? IDK. The things i bought was OK but extremely cheap. Another downside, want it in a few days or 1-3 weeks?

did they offer refunds easily at least?

most likely but i really didnt care enought to bother about it. In the end it was very cheap shit.

I find most temu shit to be whatever was too high volume to effeciently sell on aliexpress.
and amazon is just 80% of aliexpress with a 70-150% markup...

I think temu is just the marketplace for shit that factories produxe too much of and need to sell quick. special stuff i find on big ali, i end up not being able to find on temu. Everything i do find ends up being cheaper. So just go for it, particularly if it's not a brand you recognize. ┐(゚~゚)┌

video quality thru those converters are always flaky anyway (;゚∀゚)

hmmm... maybe I will just hit up a thrift shop and see if I can get an old CRT television cheapo before buying one of these then. thanks for you input anon, you as well >>179762

good luck trying to find a crt tv these days. the best you can find is a tv that was produced in 2008 to 2013 but no one is willing to donate a crt anymore.

why not? shouldn't there be a surplus of them from dead grandmas and everyone using HD TV's now?
>>
a quality crt cost a lot of moeny due to gaymerz selling them for a high price!

i think most actually get sold to be put in third world countries. you guys should head to your local shipyard and see if you can buy some before they get thrown to indians (´人`)

gramps is too busy watching porn in ultra 4k on his big ass tv in the living room to care about a tiny crt
>>
oh right, the old people have hoarded all the wealth that should have gone to the younger generations. that's why I, a millennial, still watch porn in 1080p. 👴🔫:glare1:

There is - type "tv" "television" or "crt" into craigslist, facebook marketplace, etc.
And no, it won't just fall into your lap, but it won't take too long until a listing pops up that's close by, in the good part of town, and under 30 bucks (if not literally free).

I met an ossan in a Wendy's parking lot to pick up an old TV and he raped my ANUS. :emo: be careful, because nothing in life comes for free.

My piano was free. Well, minus the toe injury while my brother and I were moving it!
