не могу найти много на русского интернета, но вот один сайт (;´Д`)
i'm omitting other russian oekaki boards because most of them don't use paintbbs or other drawing software, but if there's any out there i didn't see please let me know (゚ー`)

and that's all i had bookmarked, you guys got some interesting finds? share it here, i think it's cool to look thru these old oekaki boards ヽ(´∇`)ノ

soz, i should've wrote that in teh title (⌒∇⌒ゞ)
only the first link still gets regular posts

Oh? Does that mean artists can post there, or its just that the owner keeps updates with stuff they find?

I was thinking them being archives would mean you can't just post there on your own. (Or maybe you can submit a picture to be reviewed for posting by the owner??)

>Oh? Does that mean artists can post there
i mean that thewaterducts still gets posts from artists, yes.
last post was an uploaded picture of a drawing, from a week ago - it's a japanese board though, so bear that in mind.

>I was thinking them being archives would mean you can't just post there on your own.
besides the wayback links (which you obviously can't post on unless you have a time machine) the others are full-on archives, there is no post function.
they are merely galleries of oekaki from years gone by. (゚ー`)
https://oekaki.fuyunoyo.com/ has a registration button and a login field but if it requires verification then that would be pointless.
but you don't need to look that far anyway - the last post on there is from 2013, as i pointed out. it's long dead, so it's a functional archive. surely the owner is still around, or else the domain would have expired a long time ago. i wonder what their motive is for keeping it up. maybe it's sentimental to them? yup there's a lot of guro, and some cute hidden gems as well. also on that site are archives of previous oekaki boards (I assume) that go back quite a few years. it's always interesting to think that some of these excellent pieces were made by an artist for the sole viewing pleasure of maybe a half-dozen commenters and an unknown amount of lurkers. they must truly love making art for its own sake
