This type of toilet used to be very common in schools in eastern Europe, including mine. I was always afraid that i'd have to go take a dump and the shit will just stay there. It didn't help that locks in our school's toilet cabins were almost all b0rked, and sometimes there was no door at all!

My toilet splashes piss/shit droplets out of the bowl onto the seat and floor every time it flushes, and makes the whole bathroom and hallway smell like the various types of fungus that the tank is filled with so flushing while sitting on it is a bad idea. It's best to stand a few feet away from it, flush it with a very outstretched arm while holding your breath, then immediately evacuate the bathroom and go wash your hands in another room.
