Most of the users here today come from that time someone spammed Heyuri ads on every imageboard evar (including 4chan) in late 2022/early 2023

that was 3 years ago now... I don't think they make such a large portion of the current Heyuri userbase

inviting channers here is a great way to ruin the site, half of the reason heyuri is good is because it ISNT 4chann and it doesnt want to be 4chan. chan culture is bad. its boring, repetitive, downstream, annoying, infested with politics, genuinely just sucks. if you reallly want to advertise its better to do it on sites with a similar ethos. not "old web revival" or whatever but a hauntological vision of what the web couldve been had things been different. smaller sites with similar mindsets to us.
