Why did posting 'reaction images' never take off on Heyuri? It's not like theres a lack of material for it
>>
this is the fourth time my OC has been reposted
maybe third
i'm glad it's well received ヽ(´∇`)ノ
maybe tomorrow i'll go back and brush in some extended hair for heyuri-tan, it's kinda bothering me to look at it (´~`)
>>
Cuz we has emotes instead 🍺
>>
id say its fatigue, since reaction faces and image macros were pillaged and raepd ad infinitum across all of teh internets

maybe the lolis/gore/etc. and/or the rules here filter out the types who have a desire to post reaction images

i think reaction images are cute...

I have all my images in one big folder so it'd be a pain sorting out the ones appropriate for Heyuri
The emotes and kao are better anyway

this is 100% y... i'd rather we used reaction images instead of emotes, but oh well.
>>
this an emoteboard nao :xp:
>>
>i'd rather we used reaction images instead of emotes, but oh well
Reaction images would just make this site feel like every other post-2007 imageboard - it's best this way
>>
but the emotes arent even from heyuri! and they arent even heyuri-tan! whos idea was it to use yotsuba? thats 4chans girl
>>
All girls are our girls :lolico:
>>
Most of them were already here b4 Heyuri-tan even existed, and we decided against modifying them into Heyuri-tan once she did exist

We do have unique ones though :dance2:

becuz most "reaction images" are done to death and don't really fit the feel of the site. Most of them are evocative of post 2013 4chan because that's around when the site became the place for reaction images in the mainstream.

Por ejemplo, what feeling does this image evoke?
>>
Theoretically it could count as Rule 8: nu4chan like 165425 said.
From what i recall they're very rarely used and generally frowned upon. Especially when posted without any comment or when quoting someone's post.

Im not talking about these reaction images, but stuff like the OP pic. They were popular long before the 2010s too
>>
If that's the case then personally i save them only for the best occasions. Maybe others won't agree with me :sweat2:
