i am on the schizophrenia spectrum, but the kind that just makes me a lazy neet, i hardly care for fucking kids or lolis or anything like it, pills are often the only way for people like us to continue on living, but they are bad, really bad

schizo-pills r nothing like ssris, schizo-pills are antipsychotics, and they're given to everyone from standard "i hate people in general" disorders like schizoid personality to the schizophreniform or schizophrenic or schizotypal

antipsychotics are a bitch because they all have extreme downsides ranging from making you a fat ass and completely annihilating metabolism in a month and it never heals unless you stop taking it to -> being chronically tired until your body gets used to the antipsychotics for about 3 months, so you basically can't do anything with your life besides sleep for 3-6 months, everyday is a chronically tired coma

this is the only way folks like us can heal, without these pills the schizos can't stop seeing things that aren't real or hearing them and the schizoids can't wake up without feeling like they're empty on the inside and have no real identity of self

i wish the fancy science men & women in universities can find better cures for us soon, i stopped taking my pills by day 5 (before it even had an effect on me) because it made life even more miserable and unlivable than it is and it was painfully obvious to those around me that i was on antipsychotics and i didn't want even more attention on me from other humans

>antipsychotics, and they're given to everyone
>disorders like schizoid personality
Not true, SzPD doesn't typically have a psychotic tendency if I'm picking the words rite. It's more true for StPD. My diagnosis was in fact what helped me stop taking medications :nyaoo-closedeyes:

Why not? It's a different enough topic than that OP and moar threads are moar fun
>>
why fight the schizophrenia when you could use it to make loli tulpas and fuck them 24/7?
>>

did you read the first paragraph? this fag is too GAEY for loli tulpas

also personally i'd rather kill myself than be a resource drain at that rate

It does not have a psychotic tendency, yes, but antipsychotics are still commonly administered in most countries

I was being facetious calling myself a NEET, becuz I do work a job, just a really not fancy one, but being a NEET is seriously a problem for us folk, it is said that a large and significant portion of real hikkys in Japan are suffering from schizophrenia-spectrum disorders

schizophrenia will never be cured in the physical sense because it's a spiritual condition.

You are a prime example of schizophrenia

There's a theory that Schizophrenia is a metabolic disorder. The idea is that adrenochrome, an oxidated metabolite of adrenaline, builds up in the body causing hallucinations, among other things. There is genetic issues pertaining to the methylation cycle which causes over-methylation in some people. This can heavily affect the glutamatergic system as well, so there's a few different pathways that can cause psychosis.

There are a few remedies that have some research, but since they cannot be patented and sold as pharmaceuticals they get little attention. The main ones I am aware of are Niacin (Vitamin B3) and Glycine (A natural component found in gelatin). Sarcosine, a glycine receptor inhibitor, is also shown to give improvements in symptoms. Anything else that is known to reduce inflammation in the brain like Nicotine can help as well (Fun fact: almost 90% of people with Schizophrenia were found to smoke or use Nicotine)

Whether these would work individually for someone is obviously a question that is up in the air, but the point is that there is an alternative to giving up and accepting whatever doctors tell you to do. Of course, occasionally this is the only option available that works. Some people need to be on medication, someone has to be able to deliver my amazon packages while being able to accept the crushing work conditions.

There are many theories as to what causes schizophrenia, I believe schizophrenia has many causes, from genetic to underlying issues intensifyed by a poor diet. The result is the same, however, overheightened dopaminergic activity in the brain that causes problems like schizophrenia (paranoid hallucinations) or schizoidia (maladaptive daydreaming), and this is the basic fundamental medical ground on which antipsychotics function (ie. They calm those areas of the brain through sedatives and antihistamines)

If you ask me personally - I consume what is pretty much well above the adult recommended takein of Niacin daily, and my meat-heavy diet means I'm under no shortage of glycine either, nothing has particularly helped my mental disorders.

The daily recommended amounts for vitamins set by the FDA are very conservative. For these kinds of conditions, the amounts used in therapeutic doses far exceeds what you can get from your diet realistically. Even if you were chugging straight bone broth and eating pounds of meat every day. For Niacin, we're talking at least 1-3 grams. For Glycine, sometimes it goes up to even 50 grams. When I have an episode, nothing really helped except Niacin. I was just curious if it works on other people.
