I want to download a couple of videos from discord DMs but when i do they get turned into .MOV and the quality goes to shit

Quality from discord is shit regardless. I don't remember which one it was, but i think either the cdn or media subdomain stores an uncompressed, or otherwise higher quality version. I think it was the media one.

When you click on the download icon, it should open the link in your browser. On the address part change the subdomain from cdn.discordapp.com to media.discordapp.com
Then, see if the quality is any different. If not... i dunno what else to tell you.
