I quite liked creepypasta at the time. Lying about my own age, some then-college aged onee-san I made friends with unknowingly played a big role introducing me to wider anime. Most first serious anime I watched were horror stuff for that reason

My friend liked it a lot, she was Slenderman (Slenderwoman?) for Halloween one year
Speaking old crazes, anyone remember the killer clown thing? When people dressed up as clowns to scare random people? Never saw one myself but the thought of it freaked me out

Me too, my school had an assembly telling us to report anyone in clown costumes. Which is funny af in hindsight but felt like a horror movie at the time. Of course since we were highschoolers a few of the teachers acted like we were all suspects.. ヽ(`Д´)ノ

I think it was ruined the second they decided to make his blank face just that. A blank face.
Don't quote me on this, but I remember reading that the original intent was that his face was supposed to be whatever you imagine it to be/your worst fear/incomprehensible to the human mind etc. Something liek that.
Now that sounds a lot cooler than some ghey ass dude in a suit and tie and a white mask.
