i talk a lot about the little things that make heyuri so great but i couldnt tell you what one aspect keeps me here. all i know is when i was directed here by a different bulletin board in 2020, i said "this is the best website currently online"

its coming up to 6 years of daily use after that thought and i havent changed my mind at all
>>
>why did you start using heyuri?
- i loev imageboards
- nostalgiafag
>Theres an /l/ board
- R8
- it's one of the only imageboards that aren't basically dead or suck dick
>Theres an /l/ board

When I first found Heyuri, I thought I stumbled upon a secret ancient imageboard that noone has made a new post since the 2000s but still online for some reason due to the overall atmosphere and then-unusual date format :nyaoo-closedeyes:

There are too many reasons to list, but a big one was the fact that users here seemed carefree and didn't have all the joy-killing dogmas that imageboards usually have

Activity was relatively high, fun was allowed, and OC was celebrated - that's all I ever wanted :waha:
>>
activity was also a big factor for me, its not so big that you cant keep up but its not so small that no one posts
>>
I would like Heyuri even if it was receiving 1-2 posts a day, but I eternally desire for MOAR ACTIVITY
>>
We love /l/ !

We love /l/ !

Started because it was better than 4chan and most other imageboards.

After many years on the internet I realized I just wanted a place whhere I could be stupid with other stupid people :nida:💓
>>
>>156694
Heyuri is retard friendly! I graduated from high school and I never retained any knowledge whatsoever so it's nice to have a place that caters to me without demanding a diploma to enter! :iyahoo:
>>
>>156695
Everyone graduates from Heyuri Uni with top honors!! :waha:
>>
Heyuri is the place for high school dropouts such as myself!! :iyahoo:
>>
I heard about this place from looking for a place to oekaki. Only came to take a proper look around the time 4chan got hacked. Reminds me of a chill forum with a cool community of users (sort of like those old drawthreads you used to find on 4/trash/ or /po/).

Truly has told me that a massive part of a website's charm comes from the people and the interactions you have with them. (obvious in hindsight)

>After many years on the internet I realized I just wanted a place whhere I could be stupid with other stupid people
Also this .
>>
it's the most active english clearweb imageboard where most users don't hate lolicons

It's like it used to be. not that much porn and you never know what you find. I still lurk 4chan bant but its not the same feel

>What you love
Masturbating, and cheering people up with silly posts or by sharing pr0nz.

>What you're good at
See above.

>What you can be paid for
I get NEETbux. So I get paid to do this in a way.

>What the world needs
Less seriousness, moar fun! :waha:
>>
I left 4chan because I realized I didn't want to talk to anyone there and decided to find somewhere else.
Within the week, I found Heyuri on an imageboard listing and the rest was history.
A site that explicitly doesn't allow the shit that made me leave 4chan for sounded great.

Because I checked it out and it was fun and stayed :nyaoo2:
If not for an infinitely unlikely chain of events I would've never found this place

I like heyuri because it doesn't force me to use jabbascript so I can post in w3m :D. Also people here are cool and rule 8 like others have mentioned.

Become a content moderator for any major website and you can have the grueling task of watching tons and tons of child porn all day, every day.
>>
>>156769
but I'd have to watch CP with boys getting raped by men too and that's gay
>>
I came here back in 2018 from /g/
>>
>>156775
And necrofag spamming his autoerotic asphyxiation bullshit everywhere. :xd:

Only job I can think of that would exclusively involve lolis would be to move to Eastern Europe or Japan and be a junior chaku ero photographer.
>>
I got messaged a link to it on a youtube clone back in like 2021, checked it out a bit, forgot about it, came back the year after after rediscovering it
>>
>why did you start using heyuri?
I saw a bunch of pee-fetishists here, and I'm a hueg pee-fetishist myself, so it kind of clicked.
>>
It was the first time I saw an imageboard where making each other angry wasn't the point.
>>
Because 4chan is bad now, can't even browse /a/ without seeing thinly veiled /pol/ and /r9k/ threads
>>
>>156650
that + i like all the stuff that other ibs don't have like cgi
>>
I wanted to roleplay that I'm on /b/ in 2007 because I enjoyed being on /b/ in 2007. Seems that aspect of the culture has been somewhat lost, but I stick around because it's relaxing and funny.
>>
>>157288
Maybe most heyurians decided to stop larping as 2007 4chan and decided to make their own mark on the webz

HEYURI: The multimedia entertainment portal that's taking teh intarbutts by storm

i dont think heyuri was meant to be a larp site
but u can larp if u want to, its ok!

Any "larping" Heyuri had was limited to a few days on 2020, but it's only normal Heyuri's atmosphere would remind people of earlier 4chan, or we're posting about the same anime etc today
>>
I instantly felt at home, it's an accepting and nonjudgemental bunch of people, a comfy aesthetic that reminds me of browsing 4chan when I was 17 in 2005, and it even works for browsing and posting from my potato old toy laptops
