Hi! Today mushroom picking with dad

Target: parasol mushroom (Macrolepiota procera) known here as "kania"

They are really big. You can tell them apart from deadly mushroom that imitates it by the little ring they have beneath their top! If you see such mushroom without the ring - it is probably poisonous!

They go bad fast, they last 2 days in the frige. They are also very fragile underneath their caps and you need to handle them carefully unless you want to eat a deformed abomination. They go bad unless you freeze them which I never tried but it does not seem apetizing for mushroom this fragile and watery, or you dry them which is the best idea. You can grind a dried mushroom and keep it that way. I like it a lot.

They are rather small but in these circumstances they would not grow too big anyway

If you catch them in your hand they will automatically go to the highest point on your body
If you point your hand upwards then they will go to the top of your fingers
Ladybugs also have a tendency that if you gently breathe warmth onto them they try to fly away very fast

the only mushrooms I collect are of the magical variety

I took whatever I wanted and the rest was given away to kind people

Also when I was coming back home I noticed a street lamp swinging
Promptly I ran and found a dumb czech truck driver who wanted to do a 90 degree turn on a road that barely allows for 2 vehicles to pass by and it is not rated for such heavy vehicles
Neighbors gathered and one woman could not contain anger when he almost plucked it from concrete and called him a fucking retard and he exited and started getting angry in czech. Pica, kokot, jebem etc. I have a recording of him struggling with it and I wonder whether to report it. The lamp sits 30cm to my fence. Now it is tilted around 15 degrees.

I have these in my garden, I know they are edible but too afriad to eat.

I went for a walk in the forest just now and saw some quite hard shrooms growing out of a fallen birch tree, they had bursted through the bark it was pretty cool.
I saw many others of various kinds.

Can I farm them from the dried tor mushrooms? They have that single cellular "seed" thing when ripe I think. And they can surivive a lot and I could feed them in pasteurized nutritional liquid but I wonder if sellers take it into consideration and make harder for competition to emerge. I wanted to farm typical forest mushrooms during winter and possibly make a living from it so I guess it could work.

>Can I farm them from the dried tor mushrooms?
I think it depends on the species. You also need to find a way to culture the spores without bacteria or mold growing.

I remember watching someone on youtube growing oyster mushrooms. He had a set up going from the petri dish incubator, a big jar of liquid nutrition culture and a grow bed. Seems like a lot of work :nyaoo2:

Yes yes that is what I meant. I need to get spores. Pasteurizing a container for them is as easy as baking the container in oven and boiling the water. I could technically use gamma rays but I do not have such equipment :xd:
Then you pour spores through a clean needle and pray that they eat the fastest of all life forms inside

leave some muchrooms behind for teh gnomes
