if you look at how asians talk about foreigners, its always complaints about nigerians, chinese, korean, indian and some muslim stuff.

The issue is that foreigners report on the gaijin problem and their foreigner gaijin politics colors their reporting, creating a biased and quite frankly - wrong interpretation.

there are two separate issues at play lol
immigrants, who aren't white people in Japan
and tourists, who generally are

most shit I hear about white gaijin in japan is 100% the tourist issue

i saw a video a couple days ago of an american in japan complaining about japanese clerks in a convenience store speaking to him in japanese... in japan

iirc he said he was there for some time, a decade or so, so i don't know what his problem was with learning the language (´ー`)

this type expat just hangs out with other gaijin and never actually interact with anything japanese beyond going to the konbini. they also tend to think that just being in the country will magically grant them the ability to speak the language.

Most other Asians in Japan are usually descendants of people who either fled there or were brought there.
I heard a lot of Koreans were brought to Japan during WWII.

whites haven't seriously immigrated anywhere since the early 1900s.
