Does someone want to play Battlefield 1942? It works on a potato and is more fun than modern battlefields(u can control ships, submarines, planes, artillery etc).
There are still a few servers that average 20-30 players most of the time.

I think 1942 would be better cuz someone made the entire installation with all fixes + dlcs into one .exe that does everything automatically and for bf2 it has to be done manually.

First of, I think your suggestion to play Battlefield is a great one! I been a fan of teh serie since... uh~ BF2042.

I can't recall it was hard to get BF2 working, but you have to register an account on lost solider.org - eitherway, BF2 was a suggestion from my part as I taek every chance i can to play my childhood game again!

If more can play BF1942 - teh better! Where do I enlist? :biggrin:

I would love to do another gaming night, and I loved BF1942 back in the day, but I'm limited to what can be played on a Linux craptop. My laptop is so crap it can't even run Windows properly! Unless it's easy to get working on Linux I'll have to sit this one out.
