Nico allows more than youtube does, so you can find loli ear licking there and premium channels do know what they are doing! I never felt an urge to get nico premium, but one day I could buy it just to scrap all premium ear cleaning and ear licking ASMRs

i really love voices asmr
but the thing is i cant find anything that have soothing and calm intonation like straight from a movie (like Anzu in the tunnel to summer or scarlet in movie HER)
all the asmr i can get is whisper which i hate, or role play but it's not calm enough.

I wouldn't say either is better or worse - if you like one, you'll probably like the other. However, K-On is more "grounded in reality" while Lucky Star gets quite zany at times (vid related) and relies more on references to other shows/media & otaku culture

Just a warning: the first Lucky Star episode starts off with a mundane conversation about food that seems to drag on forever, but it does pick up and get better from there. It's similar to Azumanga Daioh in that regard, which also had a pretty lackluster first episode

I was nearly one of those people

I tried to watch it shortly after I got into anime, but quickly dropped it cuz the first episode made it seem mind-numbingly boring. Then after reading threads about it on 4/a/, I gave it a second chance, stuck it out, and thoroughly enjoyed it

awful looking upscale BD: 1 trillion seeds
exiled-destiny release with inferior subs: 8 seeds
DVD releases with better subs like [EnA]: 0 seeds
DVD raws: 0 seeds on western internet, 3 seeds on rutracker

I enjoyed the first episode but what's keeping me from watching the rest is the lack of a good release. I'm going to have to figure out how to put the [Moe] subs over a DVD raw myself because everyone on the western internet is a drooling retard that watches upscales while clapping and peeing and shitting in their adult diapers.
