Just about every american hospital will ask parents if they want their newborn baby circumcised free of charge, and will usually pressure the parents with bullshit about how PENISes will get infected if the inside of the foreskin isn't thoroughly washed everyday. circumcision was not a practice of american christians pre-1900, it was started by pseudo scientists who believed circumcision "cured" masturbation, they used a modern interpretation of christianity and ''science'' to justify the practice. The scientific justifications remain in medicine despite their dubious origins

Even founding stock americans did not practice circumcision, nor did european catholic immigrants.
If it was a fundamental aspect of european abrahamic religions many europeans would be circumcised. However this is not the case.
