What is a good client? I've been using Gajim just because its the first thing that popped up but if theres any recommendations for Windows 10/11 Clients I would love to hear them

I use Psi+ cuz the overall UI and experience is more reminiscent of ye olde IM clients (as opposed to dicksword), but I wouldn't recommend it to just anyone. It's a bit of a cluttered mess, and certain functionality (like OMEMO encryption) requires digging through menus to enable/configure plugins

Psi+ looks pretty, ill try it out when i get a chance

i forgot to mention that omemo\pgp fingerprints are published too, but it depends of your client. gajim publishes and signs fingerprints by default while profanity does not

i tried to switch from psi to psi+ because it was brought to my attention that psi doesn't have omemo but conversations don't show up in the message boxes! it's just a blank white box where the conversation should be!

i tried to host xmpp on a server and i used prosody but i got an error because debian installed lua 5.1 which was apparently too old and when i manually updated lua to 5.4 it still didnt work (´～`)
