When /bant/ was made, I thought it was a great opportunity to re-capture some of that old 4chan spirit, bant-tan represents that to me. like a little version of that fun.
There were a lot of other mascots being proposed at the time, I didnt think mine would catch on, I figured 4chan was already too normified to accept a loli mascot, even back then, but it caught on. It goes to show that if you put in even a little bit of effort, youre already better than most. So keep making OC!
/bant/ didnt really turn out like i hoped it would.

yeah it's getting worse as time goes on, i didn't mind when /biz/ started making generals on /bant/ because there were 2 drawfags among them and they were very good (picrel was made by one of them at my request iirc) but eventually they stopped posting
since then there has been a lot less fun posts, even the animal threads started getting stale

When the password changes, I check 4chan's /bant/ archive to search for the newest password (like that: https://archived.moe/bant/search/text/bantculture%20password/ )

Flag enabled boards tend to be pretty cancerous. I avoided /bant/ like the plague because of that.
