Cuz it was a crappy edit of my own contribution that didn't match teh head at all, wasn't based on any community suggestions, and he turned the totally kawaii and poorly realized star-shaped ponytail idea into a st00pid star-shaped head that we've had to live with ever since cry

Some illustrator-sans have adopted it howevar, so it's all good biggrin
