I've thought about it myself, and I'd do it in a heartbeat if I wasn't too retarded to set it up technology wise.
keep in mind that kokonotsuba will soon(?) receive a major update that will make old versions' databases incompatible with it

Even if there is a really interesting or niche subject supporting it, there's no confirming that it will be a success (;-_-) which is the sad truth with new imageboards. Not to discourage OP too much, a site like rottingangels is a step in the right direction, but even with a site like that, which really stands out from the boring imageboard standard-vichan crowd is still not guaranteed to be successful since many think like >>126229-san, which isn't wrong at all and makes sense as much as I want sites like world2ch, hikari3, rottingangels, etc. to grow, I just cant find the time, and i stick to Heyuri. the market really is too saturated, and things like CSAM being spammed only make things worse. I hope all goes well for you OP ( ´ω`)

There's no real reason to use it when you can style vichan to look the same and perform much better.
