yes and i played it almost non-stop for a few months. I'm pretty much sick of the format entirely now

having spent several thousand hours in this, the only mod i consider worthy of being excited for at this point is long and happy life (even though it's been worked on for 5 years or so )
if i were to pick from the ones that are actually playable then vanilla kaiserreich is still my go-to. everything else is either jank or simply not that fun to play

i have played it in the past
i dont like rts games but i think its fairly well game, what i DONT like about it is mostly the fact that forgetting one thing means bye bye 6-hour long game
i also hate how everyone around me kept screaming "brooo it's easy just do x and y", so i'd do that and get a crushing defeat
also... TOO MANY STATS! how am i supposed to play like this? soft attack this, hardness that, it's far too much for me

i prefer stellaris a lot more, it's simpler and while the combat is essentially just bigger number = win when the attack power is similar the difference in build DOES make a difference... also space is really awesome and i love reading the little "news" that pop up from time to time

Hoi4 is one of the worst games ever made because it is shit and yet so addicting. I would rather do drugs because at least there's a social element there.

Hoi4 is the game that I played during coronavirus and when I looked at the number of hours I got on it in just a few months I stopped playing video games forever
