What's the last movie you watched?Marked for deletion (Old)
i've never watched a movie in mai life...
The Shawshank Redemption
Commando (1985). A very dumb movie
The New World (Terrence Malick, 2005). It was my third time watching it and I am more impressed every time. A very beautiful, poetic, mysterious evocation of a time when it was possible to see somewhere completely new and original on the earth. But historically it is inaccurate as Pocahontas was actually a 12 year old loli when John Smith landed in Virginia... that would have been the only thing that could have made the film better!
Ken Russell's Listzomania from 1975. It's this insane musical (very) loosely based on the life of the composer Franz Listz. It's got this insane, madcap sense of humour that was typical of the 70s; like reading a MAD magazine.
Saw Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1 a few weeks ago.if this were a TV show, it'd be pretty great but as a movie, it feels like several TV episodes shown back-to-back and the pacing is terrible for cinemahad some cool scenes and you could tell it was a high-budget production, but it just tries to do too much shit in a 3h movie while also being full of padding scenesthe most memorable bits were the indian raid on horizon fairly early on, just this brutal siege, and then when the kid who survived that attack (I think? I can't remember) goes hunting for indian scalpsI really wish it was a tighter, more focused movie. They were ballsy enough to announce two release dates simultaneously for the two parts, but like, it kind of bombed so they had to reconsider that.
>>112294wow, saint bowie
Silence of the Lambs, I've been watching it an odd amount of times lately.Without a doubt, if he was real and around today Buffalo Bill would be an avid Heyuri user
Incantation. It's a Taiwanese folk horror film. It's about a woman who breaks a religious taboo while she was pregnant, and now has to deal with a curse put upon her daughter.
>>112294Funny coincidence; I watched his Altered States (1980) recently. Some of the hallucination sequences were completely insane! But my favorite by him is still The Devils (1971). Tons of hawt, blasphemous scenes of horny nuns.
>>112323Yes, I've seen Altered States recently too. Totally psychedelic. I'll be sure to watch The Devils too. I think Ken Russell is on track to become my new favourite director.
It's Such a Beautiful Day
drag me to hell -w-
technically the last movie I watched was postal, but the last movie I actually watched all the way through was point break
>>112332I watched altered states some years ago because of Godflesh, but I found it kinda lame
>>112364Yes, I suppose the idea that the sort of cosmic conflict that was depicted would be solved by a love story was a little trite, but I think the story was just trying to tell you that all of that divine truth mumbo jumbo that some people let destroy them pales in comparison to the real relationships you can cultivate with others.
probably the girl who leapt thru time with my bff ^_^
PENIS (1965)
VAGINA (1969)
ANUS (2017)
PENIS VAGINA Crossover OVA (1984)
PENIS ELVIS (2022)I did not enjoy it. It's full of some rap (or should I say "crap"?) and bad remixes of the King's hit songs. That is so disrespectful. And the plot... well, if you ever read "Last train to Memphis" bio, you'll be really disappointed.
