Can any densha otaku explain to me what's so interesting about trains? I genuinely want to knowMarked for deletion (Old)
the way teh trains run ppl over is what i find interesting (・∀・)
autism
rare things are cool!
Well they're very cool actually like the way they look and how they drive is all just cool. :D hope that explains
op is a woman, I know because every man loves BIG LOUD MACHINES. it is something a GIRL would never understand!POST TITS NOW!!!!!!!!
>>112020HOLY SHIT YOU'RE RIGHT
>>112020>BIG LOUD MACHINESi've got a BIG LOUD MACHINE located on my crotch
I have to agree with >>112020-san. Trains are very interesting sophisticated mechanisms, and also a part of the very complex railroads system. The railroads are limited, so people have to figure out how to use them efficiently, avoiding train collisions at the same time. It is a very complex mathematical task to solve. That's why all MIT hax0rz were "densha otakus" in the Tech Model Railroad Club (TRMC).Personally I never was into trains that much, but I was a member of the car modeling and ship modeling clubs back in the school days, so I do get why people love trains, and I would never ask such a question. Trains are cool.
When people jump in front of them to commit jisatsu.
>>112012Despite just finding big machines exciting, I think autistic people (read: otaku) tend to like things with tons of models, intricate numbers, classification systems, and whatnot. I think it's a reason battleships, planes, and guns are also popular with them.Trains and railroads also kind of augment landscapes nicely I think. That's a reason I like them, although I'm no 鉄ちゃん.
The mechanics are simply intriguing
I didn't understand what made otaku loves the denshas to the point of creating masterpieces liek this: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=I0yYijKM5S4But ever since Im in Tokyo I'm starting to get it.They all belong to different companies, have distinct design according to each line and its quite fascinating from an engineering point of view. Typically the kinda fascinating thing that oyaku obsess over. Sometiems when you wait at the 踏切 youll see a young tetchan grab a camera when the train is coming and stop once its crossing the road. Theyre very interested in the front of the train, its like its face. Trains are the closest to IRL mechas! Also for each train/line is associated its stations which are a big part of the charm too: some trains are associated with work, other with travels and vacations.
They are too poor too afford a car and too autistic to get a drivers license ৻( •̀ ᗜ •́ ৻)
what makes young japanese males to chase trains
キタ━━━(゚∀゚)━━━!!
I'm probably talking out of my ass, but i doubt the interest for trains is psychologically different from any other hobby or occupation. Try explaining a regular person off the street why Linux rocks and Windows is the antichrist, or the differences between anime styles each decade since its inception. You'll get looked at like a weirdo. And you'll do the same back when someone who's a real film buff puts you through the history of the western genre, what studios got left behind after the advent of color and the intricacies of filming equipment, for example. What's "unusual" about train enthusiasts is that their object of interest is a part of ordinary life most have stopped noticing
How come there are no anime focused on trains?
I'm more concerned about the lack of anime about bodybuilding Σ(゚д゚|||)
>>112186>I'm more concerned about the lack of anime about bodybuilding Σ(゚д゚|||)what i'm more concerned about is teh lack of anime about calculators ヽ(`Д´)ノ
>anime about calculatorsAlright, give me your pitch. I'm curious ヽ(´ー`)ノ
>>112209>Alright, give me your pitch. I'm curious ヽ(´ー`)ノhere it goez... there's a special kind of calculator that is just teh calculator-form of a fairy... sum fairies are evil so they need to be sent to DEACTIVATED
