I prefer the Old New York architecture

The old one is better. I don't get why they had to downgrade it like that. （ ´,_ゝ`）

new one looks like any other skyscaper, teh old was twin thus did stand out more

while i am not a huge fan of the new design i am happy that it is at least consistant with the design of the other buildings (3/4/7). the original was all over the place. from the short stubby black boxes at the bottom (4/5/6) to the out of place 7 wtc and the kinda ugly marriott hotel it was kinda all over the place.

the original is significantly more iconic, and having two of them is cooler
but the new one genuinely just looks better

I like the minimalism of the old ones, the new one is too flashy.
It is a cool contrast between super minimal design and big huge buildings, it is a powerful symbol with straight ninety degree angels and plain colours, but it just werks somehow. Also it just encapsulates a time and a place, the design just screams 80s American office culture whereas the new one could be in Dubai, Shanghai, London or any city with tall buildings.
