I was going through high school during the lockdowns, and because of that, I ended up taking my final 2 years of high school online - cooped up in my shitty room. I never made friends, never did sports, never got to have a high school crush, etc. And of course my grades suffered too, so I'm retarded now.

I can really point to the lockdowns and identify it as the point my life went to shit, before then I was a outgoing young lad, and after it I became a recluse. its been 4 years since then and I still have no friends
>>
Yes, this is the new lost generation for the entire world.
>>
I didn't need covid to become a recluse

It's entirely possible to end up in your situation without COVID

People who went through school in COVID ended up like this by no fault of their own. You probably could have avoided the situation of you had tried.
>>
lazy old farts like me enjoyed the shit out of the lockdowns, sacrificing your 'childhood' was worth my comfortable laziness!

That's a convenient lie you're telling yourself, and you know it. Most people your age didn't end up like you, and the majority of people who did end up like you managed to do so without COVID (and have done for a long time)

I could easily blame my situation on the mass adoption of social media/smartphones, the recession, etc. (and many have done), but ultimately it boiled down to me being a (then undiagnosed) autistic who - whether it was down to a lack of support/understanding or personal failures - fell into severe depression, anxiety, and agoraphobia, and became a shut-in NEET for most of the next 15 years

You'll probably be the same if you can't get it together, and the COVID excuse will look more and more stupid as that period of your life becomes a smaller and smaller part of your history

"WAAAAHHH IM 2X YEARS OLD AND MY LIFE IS OVER BECAUSE I HAVE NO FWIENDS!!11111 T_T"

Shut the fuck up you fucking CRYBABY. If your life is so shit THEN KILL YOURSELF.

Or... maybe be a FUCKING MAN and GET OVER YOURSELF you WHINY LITTLE BITCH. The whole world had lockdowns, not just your PATHETIC, WHINING ASS.

You can be my friend anon 🌹

I was 30+ nearing 40 during covid so no, not really. But it did change something at the collective unconscious level. That much is undeniable.

covid was awesome honestly, it was a justification for being a neet. i got paid to stay home and not work it was genuinely heaven on earth... if i could get neet money or make a billion dollars or something like that i would revert instantly right back to that state but instead i have a job and bills and am forced to go outside
