it isn't surprising that it's doing well
most laptops are shit in ways that matter quite a lot to ordinary people

the Neo is shit in a lot of important ways that also don't matter in the absolute slightest to anyone who bought one

that being said, while I can count the times I've known anyone to have replaced their laptop ram on one hand, and certainly not the whole hand, soldered storage is a sin worthy of death; I have seen a lot of people replace the disk in their laptop because it died
my own MacBook from 12 or so years ago has a replacement disk

at least the battery is replaceable but goddamn, that's a low bar (since again, my MBA from like 2014 can do that)
