we speak arabic and we are part of the arab world.
ethnically i am not sure. I know we are mixed with arabs but I read different percentages of arab blood from each source. so i have no idea.
I know the youth hates the idea that we are arab. they say we are dominantly amazigh/berber ethnically.

>the youth hates the idea that we are arab
what causes this? other north africans do it too
>>
Remember when there was a religion poll and the majority of Heyuri users professed islam as their faith? Remember how kuz converted to islam, and kaguya is from Turkey? What makes Heyuri so halal?

>what causes this?
uhh I guess secularism, nationalism, wanting to identify more with ancient carthage and other historical native states (there is like only 2 besides carthage that we can feel proud about), arab elitists from saudi arabia saying we are not real arabs.
>>
>>178342
I remember reading kaguya saying he is not muslim

Not OP, but I may as well ask a question to learn something new :nyaoo2:
I don't know nothing about Arabic but surely given your geographic distance from the Arabian Peninsula you guys have a different dialect(s)? What makes it different, like words only you guys use
>>
africa is :nigra:

I swear i can't understand any non tunisian arab dialect.
We have Modern Standard Arabic, that is clear, that's what we all learn at school. and what's used in books, the news, and everything formal.
but dialects used informally on the internet or irl, i can't understand, written or spoken.
they have different words and different pronunciations.
