Everytime I scold some normalfag about how they should stop using win11/google/spyware inc/etc, they always respond with the same line "im fine with them knowing my data" or "i like my them to know my data". They always say it as a joke of course but it's only because they don't know how to respond to the uncomfortable truth that they give all of their personal details.

To this I don't know what to say back because it kind of just ends the conversation with me thinking they're dumb. Can someone give me something to say in response to this that will instill the fear of the zuck in them and make them switch to better options?

(I didn't come here for responses like "they are normies, who cares what they say or think! :biggrin:", they are people that I might be able to convert into educated users.)

They don't care enough about it for it to be worth the many hours of work installing and setting up software or new accounts. They probably don't do anything illegal other than little things like piracy and drugs which feds don't care enough about to enforce. When google does something like making ublock origin not work in Chrome anymore and the normalfags are suddenly spammed with annoying ads, you might be able to convince them to switch to a better browser like librewolf.
