Do you think the value of games has changed over recent years?

It has, but mostly because of Steam sales and indie games. Both of which have pushed prices downwards on all digital storefronts.

yes but the direction of that change depends on the type of value were talking about... the use value has probably decreased with increased access to other forms of entertainment, especially short form media grabbing so much of peoples attention. the labor value has stayed the same or decresed even, with things like ai graphical processing lowering the ammount of actual labor that goes into them. yet exchange value and price rises as capitalists try to suck out as much surplus labor value as possible. so yes, the value of games has definitely changed.
