Making this thread on /b/ because no one will read it if it's posted to /f/.
Why is /f/ so dead? Are most of the guys from 4/f/ endlessly browsing the archives and SWFch because they refuse to post here? Is this the reason no one's making new loops, because they know there's nothing to gain (no replies :emo:) from it?
Loops used to be a great way to find people who not only share the same musical taste, but also the same taste in video entertainment (namely animu).
If you've ever liked flash, I encourage you to make a loop, and post it to /f/. Even if it's a simple 5 second .gif with some music, do it. As for you non-contributors, show loopers some love, by replying to their threads. Heyuri/f/ had a great thing going when 4chan first closed down /f/. People would post old and new flashes, and every thread would get at least a few replies. Now the only time something gets a reply, is when it's OC directly related to this site's mascot or a specific event. Which is fine, but new flashes that aren't related to a board tan would be good, too.
In short, think of a nice song and a clip from a good anime, and make a loop, DAMET :furious:

There was an /f/ regroup thread on swfchan and if I remember correctly, some people are hesitant to post here due to the site having relations with kuz.

That's honestly why I stopped too. There's less motivation now due to the low activity.

There is another thread on 4plebs, which was also active but it also died out with time. swfchan's activity can't be called great either.

I don't think there is a single reason why people stop posting.
I think most people are just not youngsters with a lot of time anymore, and finding motivation to write up a single post can start becoming a challenge, let alone creating a whole new flash (;＾Д^)
If you check the lurker counter, people still seem to check the board at least.

The last two ones I remember making were Boredom.swf and pointless.swf. (The date modified field is innacurate for some reason.)

I'm thinking about making a loop meself today, since I've got some free time. I swear we need to assemble a league of loopers. I really don't care about outsider opinions-especially those belonging to the 4cunts who piggishly reject anything that isn't their botnet; but a tiny circle of guys who make loops, who can comment on other loopers' flashes would take care of the validation dilemma.

Depends where you look - Chat@Heyuri and Strange World have had exceptionally high activity lately. Chat in particular went from an average of around 250 messages per day last year, to an average of around 1800 MPD this past month (including an all-time high of 3620) :sweat:
