I did the math on his proposed immigration cap on prefectures and it actually comes out to allow more immigrants than japan previously had total, so either hes bad with math and made a mistake or hes lying to people.

not really, i used AI and his proposed cap on immigrants per versus the amount of immigrants total already in japan, and under his plan it would create a ceiling which leaves room for twice as many immigrants as are already in the country. You can do the math yourself if you want.
Sanseito wants to put a limit on immigrants to 5% the population in **each municipality**, that is a cap of roughly 6.5 MILLION immigrants in the country total.
Right now japan has about 3.3 Million immigrants total.
His plan would leave wiggle room of an extra 3.3 million immigrants as well as force them to be spread out across the country, which doesnt sound good at all.

just pointing out a flaw in this "ultra right wing" politician. Meloni of italy was branded to everyone as a fascist who wanted to throw out all immigrants, and what has happened so far? Nothing, theyre not even turning away boats.
I assume OP is a right wing person, im just pointing out that extreme rhetoric doesnt always equal extreme action and theres a trend of people who talk one way, and ACT another way.
what constitutes a good immigrant is a matter of opinion if merely not committing crimes is enough for a person to be considered a good immigrant than that would excuse the vast majority of immigrants, wouldnt it? But we all know its an issue that goes beyond crime, and is more about the culture representing the natives.

Yet another conservative movement with the conceited notion that their first world country has he right to "refuse" immigration despite all the imperialism they have inflicted on the global south.
Yet another right-wing foundation to knock down, another country in need of denazification.
The world order will collapse and nothing will stop Eurasianism.

Don't they want to restrict artistic freedom?
As far as I know the LDP is the only party that at least pretends to not want apply more restrictions to 2D works at this point in time.

The maths being done by AI decreases my confidence that they are correct if anything.

do the maths yourself then, if you care to. all this stuff is easy to look up.
>Don't they want to restrict artistic freedom?
He wants to restrict criticism of japan/japanese culture, which means media/art that might tarnish the national image.
Some say it could be a slippery slope.
The last time art and the japanese government crossed paths was Cool Japan, which ruined otaku culture by placating western sensibilities

"We have no compassion and we ask no compassion from you. When our turn comes, we shall not make excuses for the terror. But the royal terrorists, the terrorists by the grace of God and the law, are in practice brutal, disdainful, and mean, in theory cowardly, secretive, and deceitful, and in both respects disreputable."
