I take this back. I didnt notice how some parts aren't as functional as i hoped. I was kinda hoping for more facial control, but importing MMD models through this tool makes some of the generated controls just... disappear. I'm not quite sure how to re-add them back in, so bare with me.

The fated /q/69420 bakemonogatari ED reanimation. I was going to do it on OpenToonz, but the fucking thing wouldnt stop crashing when i pulled in the op for reference, so i lost all motivation from the get go. I'll probably come back to it on a different program, but OpenToonz had an otherwise nice workflow that let me do nice looking stuff. It's probably just due to my old win tablet having fuckall RAM.

Will probably try it again for bunkasai 2026, though. A GET like that shouldn't be meaningless cuz of a crappy program.

I really shoulda just used the rendered shading on the far right. I couldn't see shit because my dumb ass just left the light i was using outside the fucking scene, and since i was using the mat preview shader (left of rendered), i couldn't tell how the lighting looked properly. I am disgustingly retarded.

I figured out imported models through MMD Tools (and by extension, append) have facial features linked to Property animation. All the facial movements are just floats between 0-1. Same with clothes visibility, which is why i wanted to do the kissing scene first. chiigyu had an idea i liked (>>161748), but i wanted to simulate her actually taking the skirt off, and i couldn't figure out how to split the skirt into it's own mesh. I'll try that next, since after some more (albeit unsuccessful) experimentation, it's probably just locked behind a menu I haven't learnt to find yet. It seems to be in it's own vertex group, and it's clearly it's own mesh, since it's hidable through one of the Property animations, so i don't see any reason it can't be.

I'm still sorta clueless when it comes to the actual animation part of Blender. It feels weird. I probably just need to watch more tutorials, cause the timeline feels really weird. Otherwise, i think i have posing down... good enough. I hope it's atleast fappable, though that's probably the models carrying the weight there.

mmda.booru.org has a good few that i personally took. And while some sites of specific japanese model artists are dead, the uploader sites they put their stuff on are still up, suprisingly. Atleast with Predator or whatever he was called.

This animation shit isn't as bad as i thought. I tried to adjust the lighting because i found it a bit harsh, and i made it a little nicer, i think. Though, you can't really tell since the animation isn't actually done. Finding just the right smoothness in motion is the difficult stuff, and also doing pose to pose not in a bad way. I forgot this is meant to be an art Σ(;ﾟДﾟ)

The hardest part is trying to find reference. All i can do is watch a shitload of JAV like a hypergooner... and hope i can live up to the hard working lesbians. How the fuck do they do that for hours? (´～`)
