i read part of the one for linear algebra, it gives sum intuitive explanations for stuff and is entertaining as far as educational books are concerned. Not sure about teh other books though nyaoo
>>
i read the one for classical physics, kind of ok for absolute newbs
>>
I heavily doubt any kind of "fun" thing would be useful to lern complex stuff. It would either be only good for absolute news as the guy above says or will be too distracting to be able to focus on the topic itself

I read the one on microprocessors. It was a fun read and I learn something at the time, but I see it more as a gentle showcase of what the field you are reading is about, than anything else. I learned more from reading the AMD64 architecture programmer's manual but there were no chinese cartoons in it and hence not as fun as the other read. On other hand, I also read the mango introduction to Calculus and since I didn't know anything about Calculus, it was actually helpful, but I imagine, if I reread it now or any person, that knows about one or two about Calculus, it would be same as with the microprocessor manga.
