Looking back it was sort of egregious how all Hollywood had to do for Inception was rewrite an Japanese movie (based on a Japanese book) to be worse and get big names on the project to make triple the box office numbers and become much more well known in pop culture (;´Д`)

Are there any other examples of this that stick out to anyone? I'm not talking about the Netflix adaptations and related stuff, I mean Westerners jacking Japan's shit and not acknowledging that they did to sell to a different audience (;´Д`)
