been watching princession orchestra
fun show so far
it's spearheaded by the people who did symphogear, but this time they're doing an actual shoujo anime for shoujo

the designs are very cute, but they also mean we get to get stuff like pic related ヽ(´∇`)ノ
but no, it is an actually cute girly girl show where they travel to a magic website with a world entirely for girls and fight bad guys who want to take the inspiration out of people
any fanservice is limited to a handful of frames whenever the animators thought they could totally get away with it

it is a show in the same vein as precure although I am tempted to say that precure's writing is solidly better
this isn't exactly a fair comparison (precure gets the absolute lion's share of talent when it comes to toei anime, it is kind of worrying how much better it looks than most other shows they've made lately)

the singing while fighting that it inherits from symphogear remains great
100% cool every goddamn time, and I am incredibly disappointed that kimi to idol precure didn't do it (I am also disappointed that idol precure didn't do the singing transformations like in star twinkle precure lol)

tl;dr: ripple kawaii, go watch her show

In my eyes there's nothing more erotic than magical girls, similar to idols and popular beautiful class representatives, the idea of a pretty girl most people feel like is out of their reach falling for, submitting to and being sullied by a random guy is super arousing to me, I guess magical girls have the bonus of having colorful costumes that contrast with the guy's ordinary appearance and the fact that a lot of young girls look up to them, I'm also a fan of slight physical abuse and masochistic girls, so if you self insert as a guy that doesn't even care that she's a magical girl and just sees her as a regular bitch it's hotter, as you'd be dismissing something she takes seriously as a silly little costume to fuck her in

I don't like h-manga where magical girls submit to some loser throwing his weight around if they should have been able to fold him in half. Completely takes me out of it.
If you want to get a magical girl the hard way, it needs to be someone that could stand a chance in a fight against her (eg, an enemy general).

that being said, they are not above getting tricked into doing stuff
sone guy convincing them that it's okay to fuck is totally fair game and much more believable
the characters in shows like this are kinda lacking in worldly knowledge lol

it falls apart for me again when it's like, blackmail rather than playing on naivety

The 2nd cour for this show has made it more interesting lately compared to its first half. On the converse Kimi to Idol precure has been disappointing ever since the halfway point.

Same. Although I feel ST's singing transformation was one of its unique charm point and having Idol Precure share it would diminish it.

I didn't realize we were nearing the endgame until seeing Uta's new transformation. It has been so dull. :astonish:
