One of my all time favorite too! Teh manga is great too! While I don't like all teh fujoshi all that much in teh later chapers, i still had a great time. Teh anime was a good adaptation, but even so, teh manga more chapthers that was never adapted. Haev you read it?

You should watch Denki-gai, and maybe even Yurumates.

One of my favorite manga to reread every so often. Very funny but also a pretty realistic portrayal of the dynamics of a small club like that.

and teh fact that it's pg-13 doesn't help much. i can't help but compare it to teh nhk (please forgive me for this) and when compared, genshiken animu feels very diluted. does manga get any bettar?

have every first series (original run too) as well as the fan book with the trivia and extra manga.

genshiken was formative to my otaku spirit, the second series didnt jive with me as much for some reason. ヽ(´ー｀)ノ

To maek u jealous of the faget who secks her while watching airing anime, also NTR'd if you were able to self insert as Madarame (which turns out to be for the best though!)

it was getting kind of depressing toward the end when some of the characters couldnt do club stuff because of work, and eventually stopped coming. stuff like that makes me so sad (´ー｀ )

I dunno, I remembrar a scene where he also lost his enthusiasm about komike. It's a minor character, but I sympathize with the first president

it's one of my favorites. such a cozy vibe, though a bit bittersweet at times. i have yet to watch genshiken 2 (and i think there was an OVA or a movie?) because i'm scared that it won't be as good and i'll just be disappointed (that's the kind of vibe i got from the little bit i've seen of it). gotta steel myself for that kind of disappointment.

genshiken 2 isnt as good but it isnt awful, the manga for that section is better tho. just read the manga.

genshiken is awesome, and it kinda mirrors my university life, but i still haven't found my sue chan or ogiue....

yeah it was my favorite stream, too. those guys were a group of otaku who could get together and just be themselves while enjoying what they love, so watching it together as a group of otaku was just perfect.
and also I was the one who thought that guy looked like Gaben and opened teh floodgates lol
