i always found anime with gore and/or guro scenes to be kewl but there doesn't seem to be many... hard 2 convince a studio to maek adaptations or not censor stuff, i guess (;´Д`)

OVAs were more financially viable at the time, and OVAs didn't have to adhere to the stricter rules of television
