Can we focus on race tensions less than fun? Racial tensions is one of the most fatiguing parts of an american spirit. If you ignore obnoxious people they disappear. Only the loudest ones cause a worldwide sensation once every few months but that is just about how much of it gets produced. Amounts are small and rare but they spread well. So well that we have an illusion that there is an insane amount of it which prevents us from happiness.

By polish national statistics if I am not mistaken reported that the amount of deaths in car accidents dropped 5 times between 2020 and 2024 but the TV keeps the same amount of attention and time covering lethal accidents. The same deal with these annoying people in japan - probably a low number that gets disproportional attention.
