It's worth mentioning for teh n00bz that Girl Talk was brainstormed and conceived during the most recent Townhall event that had a fairly large attendance, and that only happened thanks to prior discussions and polling that took place on the site

It was the exact opposite of a "site staff shove their creation down users' throats" situation, and the only user who protested it back then was... an underage girl
