Do threads about incels (such as this one) violate rule 8?

I think what matters is the intent, and 8d already provides an exception clause that technically allows for nu4chan memes (phrased as: so long as it provides LOLs), in other words it basically has to be refactored for use on heyuri.
But I don't think this instance of 'is coffee good for you' was it, and moreover I've seen far more benign r8 breaking content properly modified for contextual use being deleted or autosaged. I guess what kaguya and the mods have to figure out is the boundaries limiting both the use of existing and easily recognizable nu4chan memes vs their awareness of them, and how to apply the rules as heyuri activity picks up and users prefer staying here instead of other venues that contain rule 8 breaking contents (which will result in heyurians increasingly missing knowledge of external memes, but in my opinion, that doesn't change their inherent nature: instead of being original and providing LOLs, they are designed to attract attention in a lizard brain kind of way and provoke reaction, rather than discussion).
I encourage the admin team to think about this and refine rule 8's text to reflect what they come up with.
The ignorance of the 'is coffee good for you' meme is quite weird to me because it's been going on for years and actually started dying down (rather than picking up) recently because of how overused it was, all across 4chan (I believe it started on /g/, though). (´~`)
Then again, I don't understand why e.g. greentext stories are banned. Some of the best threads on 4chan circa 2007 were greentext story threads from the top of my head ┐(゚~゚)┌.
