>As suggested on OP post, I could just remove the page too. It's easy to merge 5th point to R8c, and I can create a R8e for greentext. Are there any objections to this?
I support it!

>I agree, but those tips aren't exactly my personal suggestions or only stuff you once talked about either... I believe majority of Heyurizens was already supporting what I wrote when I edited the page
All but 2, 6, and 8 were inspired by things I'd posted before prior to those topics ever being brought up or mentioned on Heyuri, plus that page had already been up for a year by the time you originally edited it, so its influence was already in effect

There will be a bias amongst the current userbase in favor of what's written there as a lot of newer users will have read it, assumed we actually cared about any of it, and either adopted it into their posting habits (either cuz they agreed or were just avoiding getting warned/banned like the edited version implied they would), or thought "WTF is this crap? o_O" and left

Trooth is, even if there's something that "everyone" is doing (which isn't the case here, hence teh thread), that doesn't mean it needs to be written down and formalized into a rule/suggestion - formalizing such trivial "rules" serves no purpose besides creating friction where there previously was none, and making the place seem Serious Business. If there's a case to be made against something that's being posted, users can bring it up themselves in a reasonable non-spammy manner (preferably on /q/), and other users can decide for themselves if they want to modify their posting habits or reply with "kthxbye" and carry on as they were biggrin

Only reason to get annoyed with mass repliers on other imageboards (when it's to many different posts in a thread) is cuz doing so will attach quote backlinks to every single one of those posts, making long threads difficult to navigate. Many 4chan trolls abuse it for attention in recent years, but even putting aside the fact nobody does it here, kuz disabled quote backlinks on Heyuri for performance reasons a few months back - so unless someone is flooding a thread/board with it (and flooding is already against teh rules), it's a non-issue smile
