I agree with this option. Also let users continue to self-moderate the thread etiquette. Maybe add an addendum to that actually; I noticed recent posts (>>26805 lol) that go about reminding of these tips in the wrong way. Pic related is a good example of what I mean: top post is a mood-killer to the thread and sounds like a cop reading a drunk driver his miranda rights. Bottom post on the other hand is joking and ties into the topic of the thread.

Maybe ban users who have a stick up their ass about etiquette reminder? I'd also put my tinfoil hat on and speculate that this new string of copypasta of the tips is a form of spam or perhaps a troll , but I have no evidence to back up my crackpipe conspiracy theory.
