The thread you pictured complaining about the state of the internet represent a minority view and it's highly discouraged to discuss such things here. The ideology of the sites admins has always been to create, and to focus as little as possible on meta discussions (like the one you included in your picture, and this thread) while focusing on creating thigns and having fun instead.

The people you see talking about old stuff are more often than not the newest users who are most unfamiliar with the site. You're free to talk about it of course, and it's certainly alot better than rage fueled rants like this thread

Heyuri has been around for 7 years. And as for creating stuff, I think Heyuri, taking flash for example, is probably the last site that consistently outputs new flash creations - the oekaki board gets great new art all the time...
