It sucks having to agree with this, but Heyuri is largely uninteresting. I say 'is' and not 'has become' because I don't think this is new, really. Back then we had more OC and a few more interesting threads per week, but overall posts were the same as they are now, look at the archives if you think I'm wrong.

Does this mean Heyuri was always bad? No, I love Heyuri, I was making fun posts in the decaying StrawberryHeaven hoping we'd live. But its been six (6) years. For reference, when 4chan started, in six years it was knocking on 2010's door, and it was an entirely different site by that time. Mostly for the worse, but with that kind of audience things have to change. Heyuri hasn't changed at all. There's less OC, less activity on other boards and a few new users, but it's the same Heyuri.

It's getting old. We're getting old. Our userbase consists of the same 40 or so anhedonic (ex-)otaku that just don't want to use that sort of brain power to do something interesting. Even if they did they wouldn't get as much of a response as it used to. I don't really know what to do about it. What can you do about it?
