I used to watch Boogiepop Phantom through pirate sites and read the books after that. I was really feminine as little girl growing up so seeing an androgynous character with mystery like boogiepop made me curious and I liked the story around a high school girl being infiltrated by a masculine spirit like boogiepop. I used to change my aesthetic a lot over time and noticed that my face and features overlapped when I wanted to be cutesy and other times when I wanted to be hollow and masculine. I was actually very frustrated with myself changing my looks so often, so i started looking presentable by not doing my makeup or heavy hairdos and resisting trends. Boogiepop inspired me to be unconventional and eccentric in my physical appearance. He is my role model for sure :dizzy:
