its not illegal to grow in my country, the seeds are available on some gardening sites. The plant itself is not banned.
I dont agree that injecting/smoking is safer. I think its all bad.
It is definitely harder to judge how much you are getting with tea, many make tea with the wrong part of the plant which seems to cause most of the overdose deaths from tea, from what im aware of.

To anyone cosidering it, dont. When you do opium, smoking or otherwise you are injesting latex, you are smoking a condom, think about that...
