>duhkha
teh word duhkha is translated to "self inflected pain" - harm we do to ourself, often by overthinking. As an example - if you are shot by an arrow - you will feel two different kind of pain. The actually body pain, and 2nd, teh pain of teh mind. Teh later - the pain of teh mind is often stronger and last longer too. This is duhkha, self inflected pain.

While to OP, grief is nothing that one easily can shake of, but rather learn to live with. Life gets easier once you accept things as is. Humans are dualistic creature that get stuck in teh past & teh future. If we learn to live only in teh present. Life is easier. But even present moment, has suffering.
