Google's AI "CSAM" detector has already automatically banned and reported at least one parent to law enforcement in this exact scenario. The father was investigated and cleared of any wrongdoing, and Google still refused to reinstate the parent's account even after this became known.

This is especially shitty when you consider that people tie everything to their Google accounts these days. He would have lost access to so many different logins etc., and his phone had automatically uploaded the pictures to his Google drive, which is how the bot scanned them in the first place. Remember the antitrust case against Microsoft when they were accused of monopolizing web browsers? That attempt at cornering the market seems quaint compared to what the tech oligarchs are doing today, and yet little is being done about it.
